We will use the results of your discussions today as a basis for deciding the criteria that we will use to evaluate the blogs at the end of the semester.

ReplyDeleteWe think that to make blogs engaging, we should consider using pictures or videos to help readers form a better understanding of your blog's topic. Picking appropriate videos/pictures can be difficult, buy they shouldn't be irrelevant or inappropriate. Linking to Japanese websites provides additional reading.
There are many blogs, so spend time following blogs that interest you is more interesting and makes your blogging experience more meaningful.
Overall, blogs are good ways to practice writing and reading, as well as learn about Japanese culture.
P.S. Blog layout is important; choose nice fonts please.

ReplyDeleteThings that make your blog KAWAII
-Katakana is FUN because it's fun to decode what the words mean!!
-Put in pictures and videos, too, because that makes people more interested in you posts.
-Ask the readers questions, because when you don't, it's really hard to respond to a text post that just has a lot of statements.
-Make sure the layout of your blog is not obnoxious to navigate because then nobody will ever go to your blog
-Use and define kanji, because not only do you look smarter, you ARE smarter! :D
-Use emoticons if you have no idea how else to convey your feelings on a subject. :D :( :/ ;)
